Sisters’ Islands Marine Park reopens; visitors can hike a coastal trail and see corals up close

Following a three-year transformation, Singapore's Sisters’ Islands Marine Park has reopened to the public as of October 28, inviting nature enthusiasts to experience its vibrant biodiversity. Highlights include pristine lagoons for swimming, close-up coral viewing, and a scenic coastal forest trail with sweeping views of Singapore’s southern islands.

The 40-hectare marine park’s focal point, Big Sister’s Island, is the main area open to visitors. Small Sister’s Island, however, remains dedicated to research and conservation, with the western reefs of nearby St John’s Island and Pulau Tekukor situated underwater.

Big Sister’s Island received significant upgrades in 2021, aiming to enhance visitor access and provide an immersive learning experience about Singapore's rich yet often hidden marine life.
