Typhoon Shanshan has brought heavy rains and strong winds to Japan, with gusts reaching up to 216 km/h. The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued warnings of heavy rains, potential landslides, and high waves, particularly affecting the Amami region and the central Shizuoka area. The typhoon is expected to move towards the southern island of Kyushu later this week.

In response to the typhoon, Japan Airlines canceled 116 domestic flights and six international flights, while All Nippon Airways canceled 68 domestic flights from Wednesday to Friday. Residents in affected areas have been advised to evacuate from dangerous places to ensure their safety.
