Explosive new trailer released for Fast X

There’s just no stopping Vin Diesel. Not only is he scheduled to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, he also has Fast X on the horizon. 

After the film initially lost its directoronly days after filming commenced, Louis Leterrier came to the car franchise’s rescue. The first trailer, released two months ago, gave us our first look at Jason Momoa’s villain as well as some new, unbelievable stunts. 

Universal Pictures have released a new trailer which is, er, explosive, to say the least. 

It seems that Momoa’s Dante Reyes is holding a grudge against Diesel’s Dom Toretto. Reyes’ father perished during the events of Fast Five and Dante is here to avenge his father. 

The trailer includes an awful lot of explosions, as well as stunts that defy the laws of physics and logic. That’s nothing new for the long-running franchise, of course, so fans are certainly getting their money’s worth. 

Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron will also be returning as the villainous Cipher who will be joining forces with Dante in order to take down Dom and his family. Thankfully, Dom has a lot of allies, including Brie Larson’s Tess and John Cena’s Jacob as well as his usual crew. 

Fast X will be followed by Fast 11 which just announced Leterrier returning as the director. Fast 11 will also conclude the entire franchise, so Fast X will likely set up those events. 

Fast X will swerve into cinemas 19 May and go up against Ari Aster’s highly anticipated Beau Is Afraid.
