The cyclist, surnamed Zhuo, was riding on the left-most lane when Chen's car suddenly slowed down and turned without signaling. Zhuo was unable to stop in time, collided with the car, and sustained minor injuries. Zhuo later shared that Chen, though concerned, didn’t apologize or admit fault, citing that there was no zebra crossing and thus no requirement to yield. Despite this, Chen confirmed that he had called the police after checking on Zhuo’s condition, though Zhuo left the scene before they arrived.

Chen admitted to not signaling but noted that he had slowed down before the turn. He also mentioned that Zhuo wasn’t wearing a helmet. Chen expressed willingness to take responsibility if found at fault and stated he wouldn’t seek compensation for the car repairs.
The police are currently investigating the accident, with both parties having lodged reports. Zhuo's injuries were minor, and he refused medical attention at the scene.
